In january Juventus announced a movement we don’t see very often, they signed a young player who was playing in Barcelona, but this player was a not a star nor a discard of the catalan club. It was about a rookie or a young player with 19 years old borned in Venezuela with success in youth leagues.Barcelona received 8.2 millions euros and the also young midfielder Matheus Pereira instead.

Marques is a tall boy 19 years old, very skillful with the right leg, a very good header, much more in anticipation. He is also a good dribbler and eventually scores with his left foot. Facing the goalkeepers is the time you see all his category.
Searching out some information about his personal life, you can see that despite he was borned in Venezuela and even played some games with the young national squads, after he moved to Europe, everything has changed, including some problems with the Venezuelan Football Federation and his manager, Rafael Dudamel, who tried to call him several times for different competitions, without success. In fact, Alejandro´s father, José Márques, said that because difficult social crisis Venezuela has been going trough, he prefered his son to attend Venezuelan convocatories that would take place outside that country, just to avoid Alejandro visiting Venezuela. That request was denied.
Last year Alejandro decided to attend the call of Spain sub 19 team and played the Eurocup sub 19 in Armenia, in which he scored against the host and also scored a penalty against France. Spain finally won that tournament.
But Márques time in Barcelona suddenly changed when he couldn’t make a deal with the catalan club for a new contract. Patrick Kluivert was in charge of negotiations and and also Eric Abidal participated in some of them, but it didn’t worked. The player decided to wait for a better offer, probably assessed by his father and for Magic Player an enterprise that works with his representation.
Marques signed with Juventus a contract until 2024 and probably this operation represent a bet for a future if you realize the in the short term Juventus will have to renew his forwards because some of them have passed the thirty years, and considering the others who has left the club.
